 I am the owner and Creative Producer of Kahala Productions. Projects that I have produced include animated shorts, music videos, interactive educational websites, film title designs and conceptual art projects for international exhibitions. My background in the film industry spans over thirty years in production, including children’s television programming, major motion pictures and television commercials in Europe, the South Pacific, and Asia.
As a founding member of the Manoa Film Board in Honolulu, Hawaii, we organized the first International Hawaiian Film Festival that continues today as a major festival; contributed to the formation of Music in the Park in Northern California as a member of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce; continually support the film industry in San Francisco as a charter member of the Bay Area Film Alliance and have served as a long term volunteer of the Film Institute of Northern California.
In the past few years I’ve completed undergraduate degrees in Multimedia, Liberal Arts, a BA in Cinema and MA in Education at San Francisco State University, and am currently working on my Masters and Doctorate in Media Psychology at Fielding Graduate University. My concentration is concerned with media influence in film and television content.
