As far as water bottles this is a large ticket item for sure. Several years ago I spoke to a fellow in Iowa using corn based flatware for sets that would biodegrade in landfills. I asked him why not apply the same principal to water bottles?? Strange isn't it that the nalgene plastic bottles are known to be so toxic. Plastic sure has become something different than what was meant when the guy whispered into Dustin Hoffman's ear "plastic, son,plastic."
